About the company

We exist to make humanity more free. Technology has historically given people more time for the things they want to do, instead of things they have to do. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice we've ever built—but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. We're singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them—with teams spanning hardware and software. Speed and scale are our key differentiators. Come be a part of building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI.

About the role

Engineer automated commissioning from the controls side: test sequences written into the control layer itself. Build the functional test library: every device and sequence in the reference design with an automated test to match. Run automated commissioning on live sites: execute, analyze, and disposition failures with the field team. Feed results upstream: design and controls standards fixed where tests keep failing.

Responsibilities

  • Commission building or data center control systems hands-on.
  • Write test procedures, not just execute them.
  • Program BMS or PLC platforms well enough to embed tests in logic.
  • Analyze trend data to find the failure the point check missed.
  • Turn repeat findings into upstream fixes.

Qualifications

  • Experience with L4 and L5 commissioning at scale (bonus).
  • Proficiency with Tridium, ALC, Siemens, or PLC platforms.
  • Experience with analytics tooling.
  • Electrical commissioning interface experience (bonus).

Compensation Range: $164K - $206K
