About the role

Create and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and bills of materials using AutoCAD.
Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and control system applications, including legacy code updates.
Collaborate with digitalization and engineering teams to ensure controls, data collection needs, and project requirements are met.
Support system assembly by guiding technicians, verifying build quality, addressing inquiries, and commissioning equipment.
Research and specify components, develop user manuals, and produce technical documentation such as software management plans.
Assist with budgeting, requirement reviews, and providing technical support throughout installation, startup, and operational phases.

Requirements

Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and one to three years of engineering experience.
Proficient in a CAD software package.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools.
Strong understanding of PLC and HMI programming, with experience in Allen Bradley systems and knowledge of Visual Basic, Visual Basic dot net, and Python considered a plus.
Fundamental understanding of robotics, with experience in ABB robotic systems viewed as an advantage.

Qualifications
