Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Safely wire and connect/disconnect electrical equipment with various AC/DC voltages up to 600VAC
- Troubleshoot and repair all types of electrical controls, including three phase motors and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controlled (PLC) equipment
- Perform electrical equipment installations according to National Electrical Code (NEC) including all feeder and branch circuits
- Perform some electrical control design work and equipment control modifications
- Read, comprehend, and alter electrical and mechanical drawings
- Utilize arc flash/other PPE and properly perform lock out/tag out procedures
- Occasionally perform field service of control panels and other equipment at sites across U.S.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work in a safe manner and promote a safe work environment at all times
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must have two or more years of electrical experience with single and three phase power applications up to 600VAC
- Minimum of three years of diverse industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred
- Understanding of intrinsically safe and Ground Fault Protection electrical equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot under pressure
- Must be capable of learning new tasks quickly
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Valid Driver’s License with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI’s in the last five years
