About the role
This role is focused on developing and maintaining software applications within the automotive sector, particularly in the areas of control systems, fuel systems, air handling systems, and powertrain components.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains Autosar Software Application layer models.
- Uses MATLAB and Simulink for algorithm development, debugging, and testing.
- Creates test vectors and conducts various levels of testing including MCDC, SIL, HTesting, and uses tools like Polyspace Code Prover and Bug Finder.
- Manages requirements at both functional and system levels using tools like Windchill and Clearcase.
- Works with open loop test benches and has experience in ADAS domains.
- Has knowledge of performance features, customer features, cruise control, and powertrain components.
- Collaborates effectively in a team environment and communicates effectively with clients.
Requirements
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow, including Model Advisor Guidelines (MAAB, MISRA).
- Experience with Simulink and Stateflow for creating and maintaining algorithms in control systems (lookup tables, filters, PI/PD loops, timers/counters, fixed point arithmetic).
- Experience with code generation and build processes.
- Knowledge of Fuel System and Air Handling systems, Performance features, Customer Features, Cruise Control, and ADAS domains.
- Automotive experience, specifically in Powertrain.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Qualifications
- B.Tech/BE/MTech/MS in Electrical/ Electronics and Telecommunication (ENTC)
