About the role

If you are an Engineering professional early in your career and excited to learn, grow, and make an impact, Emerson has an opportunity for you with our Power and Water Solutions team in Cranberry Township, PA (Greater Pittsburgh area).

Responsibilities

  • Be part of a collaborative, inclusive team focused on solving complex engineering challenges
  • Contribute to application design and engineering execution on active projects with guidance and mentorship
  • Participate in cross functional and global teams supporting process improvement initiatives
  • Build and develop technical capabilities through hands on project work and exposure to multiple engineering disciplines
  • Support the application design and execution for thermal and conventional power projects
  • Help ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project execution cycle
  • Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement and business growth
  • Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and architect/engineering firms to help identify practical technical solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of related experience in an engineering environment
  • Able to travel up to 20% within North America

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
  • Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible
