Controls & Automation Engineer

What's the Job?

Design, develop, test, and deploy PLC logic using Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000 / 500 for ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and GuardLogix platforms.
Configure and manage PTC Kepware (KEPServer/EX) middleware for real-time OT data acquisition and device communication.
Perform on-site system commissioning, start-up, loop tuning, and functional testing to ensure optimal operation.
Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, CIP, Modbus TCP/RTU, and Profinet.
Maintain comprehensive engineering documentation including electrical schematics, P&IDs, I/O lists, and network architecture diagrams.

What's Needed?

• Experience programming and commissioning Rockwell Automation control platforms.
  
• Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Kepware middleware and industrial networking protocols.
  
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis on hardware, logic, and communication failures.
  
• Strong understanding of machine safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 62061 / 61508) and cybersecurity best practices.
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
