About the role
AECOM Hunt is seeking an experienced Controllership Manager for their team of professionals in Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Assists the Controller in the development and maintenance of planning and budgeting systems
- The preparation of financial and management reports and procedures
- The coordination of various internal and external audits
- The presentation of findings and specific recommendations to senior management
Requirements
- BA/BS Accounting/Finance/Business or similar curriculum and 6 years of experience in construction accounting or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- 6 years of accounting experience in the field of A/E/C
- Experience in project accounting
- Experience with CMIC or COMPASS or other database systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction related contracts
- Detail-oriented financial review and reconciliation experience
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Deadline management and prioritization
- Process improvement mindset
- Ability to translate project activity into accounting impacts
- Supervisory experience
- Experience with ERP, accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in the office in AZ as required
Qualifications
