About the role

AECOM Hunt is seeking an experienced Controllership Manager for their team of professionals in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Controller in the development and maintenance of planning and budgeting systems
  • The preparation of financial and management reports and procedures
  • The coordination of various internal and external audits
  • The presentation of findings and specific recommendations to senior management

Requirements

  • BA/BS Accounting/Finance/Business or similar curriculum and 6 years of experience in construction accounting or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • 6 years of accounting experience in the field of A/E/C
  • Experience in project accounting
  • Experience with CMIC or COMPASS or other database systems
  • Ability to read and interpret construction related contracts
  • Detail-oriented financial review and reconciliation experience
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Deadline management and prioritization
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Ability to translate project activity into accounting impacts
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience with ERP, accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in the office in AZ as required

Qualifications
