Controller - Pacific Northwest - Full-Time or Part-Time
Responsibilities
- Serve as the outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple non-profit clients.
- Financial reporting for management and Board decision making and presentations.
- Recommend and implement improvements to accounting, operations, internal controls, and compliance policies and procedures, supporting client strategy and best practices.
- Transactional activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable (revenue recognition and billing), and payroll, general accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and maintaining workpapers.
- Analysis and data visualization, budgeting and forecasting.
- Grant management, allocations, and funder reporting.
- Prepare for and manage annual audit.
- Client and staff training opportunities.
Qualifications
- Passionate about working in or supporting non-profit organizations.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
- 5-7 plus years accounting experience.
- Experience working in a remote environment preferred.
- Ability to manage and lead multiple clients, work independently, and be responsive on a timely basis.
- Demonstrated strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with multiple GL packages, especially QuickBooks, and electronic bill pay systems.
- Non-profit accounting, public accounting experience, and/or consulting experience is a plus but not required.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Bilingual-English/Spanish a plus.
Benefits
- Yearly base salary range: $100,000 to $135,000 based on a 35-hour work week for this non-exempt position.
- Total compensation may increase with overtime pay and eligibility for various bonuses.

Pay
Starting annual base salary is $100,000 to $135,000 based on a 35-hour work week for this non-exempt position. Total compensation may increase with overtime pay and eligibility for various bonuses.

Standard 35-hour full-time work week, with eligibility for paid overtime for non-exempt employees.
