Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 10–15 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience managing complex accounting functions and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting practices
- Proven success leading accounting process improvements and operational enhancements
- Experience overseeing multi-entity accounting environments
- Experience supervising, coaching, and developing accounting staff
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA designation
- Physician practice or related healthcare services experience
- Experience presenting financial results to boards, physician owners, executive leadership, or governance committees
- Experience within cash-basis accounting environments
- Experience with Revenue Cycle processes of a medical practice
- Demonstrated success leading accounting system, or financial technology implementations
- Experience managing organizational restructuring or process transformation initiatives
- Experience evaluating and implementing enterprise financial technology solutions
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools, automation technologies, and modern finance systems
Physical Demands / Work Environment
- Requires daily operation of a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other standard office equipment
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or lift office materials weighing up to 10–20 pounds
- Communicates effectively in person, by phone, and through virtual meeting platforms
- Professional office environment or hybrid/remote work setting
- Primarily indoor work with minimal exposure to adverse environmental conditions
- May require occasional extended work hours for evening meetings or critical financial reporting periods
- Occasional travel may be required for meetings, audits, training, or visits to company locations
