Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance leader across multiple manufacturing operations.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic finance initiatives and special projects.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting activities.
- Analyze financial performance and operational metrics to support business decision-making.
- Lead financial, regulatory, and compliance audits.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and Board-level reporting packages.
- Implement and maintain standard costing, inventory valuation, and financial reporting best practices across multiple facilities.
- Drive ERP optimization, financial system improvements, and process standardization initiatives.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital performance.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate financial policies.
- Standardize accounting policies, procedures, and reporting practices across all locations.
- Partner closely with operations leadership to support continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
- Lead finance-related projects to ensure successful execution, budget adherence, and operational alignment.
- Develop, coach, and supervise finance and accounting staff across multiple locations.
- Support organizational planning, goal setting, and finance team development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- CPA and/or CMA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably within manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated experience with cost accounting, multi-site operations, and financial leadership.
- Strong experience with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms.
- Experience leading financial transformations, process improvements, and system implementations.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams across multiple locations.
Preferred Experience
- Multilocation operational finance leadership.
- ERP implementation and optimization experience.
- Experience supporting private equity-backed organizations is highly desirable.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
