Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the full accounting function
• Ensuring a timely close and delivering clear, actionable financial reporting
• Strengthening processes and controls
• Proactive cash management and forecasting
• Building and maintaining financial projections across income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow
• Partnering with executive leaders to shape strategy
• Serving as a sounding board for store operations with practical insights
• Leading teams across Accounting, HR, and IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA strongly preferred)
• 7+ years leading accounting functions and teams
• Experience in complex environments with multiple revenue streams, including leasing, sales, inventory, and multi-location operations
• Strong technical accounting expertise paired with business acumen
• Able to translate financial data into clear insights for leaders
• Hands-on, collaborative leadership style
• Experience in a privately held or ESOP company a plus
