Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting, including statement of financial position, activities, and cash flows
- Manage general ledger, month-end close, and daily accounting operations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (ASC 958) for nonprofit organizations
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Active CPA required
- 5–10 years of accounting/finance experience, including nonprofit accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit reporting (ASC 958)
- Experience managing staff and accounting operations
- Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting system experience
