Controller | Accounting & Finance $180K + Bonus

About the role

We’re partnering with a well‑established, growing organization in the west metro to identify a Controller / Finance Director who can lead its Finance & Accounting team and serve as a key partner to the CFO and senior leadership. This is a broad leadership opportunity overseeing a six‑person team, with responsibility spanning technical accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, capital planning, and strategic financial analysis. The role offers the opportunity to strengthen finance processes, modernize systems and reporting, and help guide financial decisions in a complex, capital‑intensive environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct partnership with the CFO and senior leadership.
• Leadership and development of a six‑person Finance & Accounting team.
• Oversee technical accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Lead capital planning, project accounting, and asset management.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and guide financial decisions.
• Strengthen finance processes, modernize systems, and improve reporting.
• Enhance finance controls, processes, and overall system efficiency.

Pay

$140,000 – $180,000 base salary, 10% target bonus, and a strong retirement and benefits package.

Location

Based in Plymouth, MN. Primarily onsite with limited long‑term work‑from‑home flexibility.
