What You Will Do
- Design and create HMI / SCADA interfaces for shop floor machine tools.
- Create custom business applications to collect, analyze, and report data critical to plant operations.
- Analyze application performance and debug or repair as necessary.
- Modify custom applications to accommodate new functionality needed to satisfy compliance or business requirements.
- Design reporting solutions and present a mock-up of the expected reporting output for review and approval.
- Convert legacy software applications to current technologies.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or similar environment OR a Master's degree and 3 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or similar environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including VBA
- Experience with a programming language such as .Net, Java, or Python
- Experience extracting and manipulating data from Oracle and/or SQL Server databases
- Experience in automation or robotic applications
- PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Factory Talk)
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with the Ignition by Inductive Automation software platform
- Engineering degree (aerospace, manufacturing, mechanical, software, robotics, electrical or industrial)
- Experience creating reports and data analysis in Python and SQL
Pay
The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
