Control Systems Engineer

About the role

GrayMatter is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position focuses on managing specialized work efficiently, with a specific emphasis on Control Systems.

Responsibilities

• Performing GrayMatter services to meet client needs, with a focus on Control Systems
• Designing, developing, and implementing solutions to resolve customer issues
• Consulting with and training end users on new applications
• Aiding in project development and planning
• Performing onsite pilots, FAT testing, SAT testing, and demos as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field (EE, EET, ME, MET or comparable)
• 4+ years of relevant working experience with:
• PLC Programming: Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Schneider Modicon, Schneider Electric, and Siemens
• Control Systems implementation, design, installs, and troubleshooting
• Industrial application programming languages
• Electrical Schematics
• Acute attention to detail and process
• Strong ability to solve problems and research solutions
• Excellent customer service attitude

Qualifications

• Preferred experience includes:
• AutoCAD or Drafting experience
• Networking experience (Ethernet IP, Modbus, etc.)
• VTScada platform experience
• Siemens PLC and SCADA platform experience
• Rockwell PLC and SCADA platform experience

Skills

• Knowledge of industrial application programming languages
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

Pay

The target annual base compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000, based upon relevant qualifications.

Schedule

The position is local with up to 50% travel throughout a calendar year.
