CONTROL SENSORS AND SAFETY SPECIALIST

About the role

The Control, Sensors, and Safety Specialist at City Electric Supply is a key position that supports business development managers in selecting, acquiring, installing, and commissioning application-specific solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of control, sensor, and safety applications, including proximity, temperature, pressure, vision, and light curtain applications.

Responsibilities

• Applies safe-work practices for the selection and installation of controls, sensors, and safety solutions.
• Identifies and selects application specific solutions.
• Provides recommendations and technical expertise in the selection of sensors and safety products for customer applications.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of the installation requirements and best practices for applications.
• Make joint sales calls with field sales staff in support of applications.
• Provides technical support to internal and external customers.
• Conducts training for both internal associates and customers.
• Responsible for achieving revenue and growth goals.
