Responsibilities
- Attends regularly scheduled Safety meetings and implements all CCC and OSHA safe work practices
- Conducts monthly safety observations
- Participates in audits and understands all associated procedures
- Follows all Safety Guidelines and JSP’s – makes suggestions for improvement if necessary
- Performs general housekeeping in operating area and control room to keep a clean professional work area
- Operates the kiln reactivation system and associated equipment with a minimum of direct supervision
- Adjusts equipment as necessary to maintain product quality
- Uses available tools such as process history and data trending to make continuous improvements to the process
- Maintains accurate and legible process records
- Works with outside or inside company personnel to run trials or process experiments
- Operates all equipment to maximize yields, conserve energy and keep process at optimum efficiency
- Uses desktop computer to track process data, production data, enter maintenance work order requests, and maintain effective communication
Requirements
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One year certificate from college or technical school preferred
- One to two years of plant manufacturing experience preferred
- Computer competency preferred
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Schedule
Hours of work: 7 Days per Week; Rotating Shifts 8 or 12 hour shifts - Dupont schedule
