What You Will Do Roll and re-roll plate to match sweepInspect plate for defects and damageOperate burn table to cut plate according to blueprints and measurements and dispose of any remaining materialOperate mag lift to transfer plate within the departmentBlast and paint plateFollow all safety rules and practicesMay be involved in safety committees or initiativesPerform other duties as assigned What You Will Need A minimum of 1 year of experienceThe ability to operate a lift to move loads up to 30,000 poundsThe ability to operate an overhead crane on a production lineThe ability to read a tape measurerThe ability to read, write, and speak English fluentlyAbility to work as a team, demonstrate high ethical standards, treat all coworkers with dignity and respect and support a positive working culture Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods of timeUse hands and arms to feel, reach and graspAbility to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlLift and/or move up to 50 pound Working Conditions Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidaysAbility to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plantOvertime and Overtime on Saturdays, as neededSchedule is subject to change Safety Sensitive: Yes Safety Activities Be aware of and observe all safety practices.Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
