Control Account Manager
About the Role
Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Control Account Manager in our Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). The selected individual will play a key role in enhancing, testing, and deploying a large-scale Satellite Communications (SATCOM) system to an existing infrastructure, serving the United States Space Force (USSF) / Space Systems Command (SSC), the United States Air Force (USAF), and other critical mission stakeholders. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance the resilience and cybersecurity of mission-critical communications that protect our nation.
This position is based near Columbia, Maryland, with possible alternative duty locations in San Diego, California, Englewood, Colorado, or Huntsville, Alabama. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Report to the PM/DPM and manage the budget, scope, and schedule of assigned Control Accounts (CA).
- Participate as an Agile Team Member for the PMO Scrum team.
- Collaborate with the Agile organization delivering work within the Control Accounts.
- Ensure Agile and Earned Value (EV) principles are maintained within work teams.
- Maintain a current Estimate to Complete for all work within the CA.
- Author a Monthly Status Report (MSR) or Variance Report (VR) for each TTO or CA each accounting period.
- Participate in the monthly business rhythm of the program with the Business/Finance Team Lead.
- Request authorization from the customer for activities within the CA that are within scope but not authorized.
- Respond to customer requests for each CA.
- Serve as the primary POC for the customer for activities within the CA.
- Designate the primary technical POC to the customer and other stakeholders.
- Participate in technical discussions, meetings, and reviews to maintain situational awareness within the CA.
- Participate in the staffing process and ensure the work within the CA is adequately staffed.
- Handle procurement requests within the CA to buy equipment.
- Ensure authorization to expend funds (labor, materials, ODC) within the CA are within budgetary constraints.
- Review Weekly Hours Reports to ensure correct charging within the CA.
- Approve funding to fulfill CA requirements and approve timecards for subcontractors.
- Participate in responses to RFIs, RFPs, or requests for a ROM.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Current or recent (within the past 5 years) experience as a Control Account Manager, TTO Lead, or equivalent position responsible for managing budget and schedule.
- At least 3 years of experience working on a large, complex software development and hardware integration program.
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical project or program management role.
- At least two years of experience working within an Agile environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality results.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to independently plan and prioritize daily tasks, ongoing projects, and recurring processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and interface professionally with peers, leadership, developers, engineers, testers, customer points of contact, and company management.
- U.S. Citizenship with an Active or Current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with or in military Satellite Communications (SATCOM) organizations such as United States Air Force (USAF), United States Space Force (USSF), or another Agency.
- Experience working with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)/key management programs and technologies.
- PMP certification strongly preferred.
- Scrum Master or related credential or coursework.
- In-depth experience with Agile methodology.
- In-depth experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodology.

Pay
Pay Range: $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
