Contracts Sr Specialist

Job Summary

Participates in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements in the purchase or sale/delivery of equipment, materials, products or services
Evaluates contract compliance and advises others on contractual rights and obligations
Requests or approves amendments to contract terms or contract extensions
Prepares bids or requests for proposals (RFPs), including specifications and requirements; negotiates contract terms and participates in the determination of acceptable bids

Essential Functions

  • Prepares, examines, negotiates and revises contracts.
  • Ensures contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Handles the acquisition, distribution, and store of purchases.
  • Affirms that all clarifications and amendments of negotiations are incorporated into the final contract.
  • Generates, maintains, and audits a central contract-resource file.
  • Ensures that necessary procedural controls exist.

Required Qualifications

  • Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
    Discipline/Major: Finance or Business preferred
  • Knowledge, skills & abilities: Organizational skills. Oral and written communication skills. Detail oriented. Leadership skills.

Pay Range (USD)

$103,300- $139,729
