About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Contracts Specialist to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire contract lifecycle—from drafting and review to negotiation and post-signature performance management. The ideal candidate will possess strong collaboration skills, a keen eye for risk mitigation, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of procurement agreements, including technology, security, and data privacy contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and risk thresholds.
  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Security teams to identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks through detailed assessments and collaboration.
  • Manage dispute resolution processes by working with internal stakeholders and external vendors to address contract-related issues efficiently while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the contracting process.
  • Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, Security, and other business units to align contract strategies with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the contract lifecycle from intake to execution, leveraging contract management tools to enhance efficiency, visibility, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing commercial contracts within procurement, sourcing, or a legal environment.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, contract negotiation, and contract management processes.
  • Familiarity with SaaS, cybersecurity, internet infrastructure, OEM suppliers, and marketing technology is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of commercial contract law, data security, and privacy regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to build effective cross-functional relationships and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with contract management systems and tools.
  • Background in managing complex procurement agreements and vendor relationships.
  • Awareness of legal and regulatory frameworks related to data privacy and security.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with a high level of professionalism and independence.
