About the role

The Contracts Principal will manage contracts/proposals in support of SAIC's Army Navy Business Group (BG).

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements.
  • Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
  • Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.
  • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
  • Develops solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
  • Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
  • Supports commercial work as well as complex efforts including Firm Fixed Price (FFP) defined delivery efforts.
  • Duties include proposal preparation; negotiation and administration of various contracts to include Cost Reimbursable (CR), Time and Materials (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and multiple Task Order contracts development;
  • Preparation, negotiation, and administration of teaming agreements and proprietary information agreements;
  • Collection and submission of data for regulatory reporting;
  • Management of OCI Plans.
  • Provide mentorship to contract team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related business discipline and 10 (ten) years’ experience or Master’s degree in business administration or a related business discipline and 8 (eight) years’ experience.
  • US Citizenship Required.
  • Cost proposal experience is required.
  • Minimum Secret Clearance with the ability to get TS/SCI.
  • Experience with CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, FFP, T&M and commercial contracts.
  • Strong grasp of Organizational Conflicts of Interest concepts and mitigation strategies.
  • Expert knowledge of FAR, DFAR and applicable Agency supplements.
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and independently with senior management.
  • Expert knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing acquisitions, including FAR, DFARS, TINA and CAS.

Pay

$120,001 - $160,000
