About the role
The Contracts Principal will manage contracts/proposals in support of SAIC's Army Navy Business Group (BG).
Responsibilities
- Reviewing contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements.
- Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
- Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.
- Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
- Develops solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
- Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
- Supports commercial work as well as complex efforts including Firm Fixed Price (FFP) defined delivery efforts.
- Duties include proposal preparation; negotiation and administration of various contracts to include Cost Reimbursable (CR), Time and Materials (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and multiple Task Order contracts development;
- Preparation, negotiation, and administration of teaming agreements and proprietary information agreements;
- Collection and submission of data for regulatory reporting;
- Management of OCI Plans.
- Provide mentorship to contract team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related business discipline and 10 (ten) years’ experience or Master’s degree in business administration or a related business discipline and 8 (eight) years’ experience.
- US Citizenship Required.
- Cost proposal experience is required.
- Minimum Secret Clearance with the ability to get TS/SCI.
- Experience with CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, FFP, T&M and commercial contracts.
- Strong grasp of Organizational Conflicts of Interest concepts and mitigation strategies.
- Expert knowledge of FAR, DFAR and applicable Agency supplements.
- Excellent oral and written communications.
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and independently with senior management.
- Expert knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing acquisitions, including FAR, DFARS, TINA and CAS.

Pay
$120,001 - $160,000
