Contracts Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and vendors across hardware, equipment, and service categories
  • Draft, review, and manage a variety of agreements, including NDAs, purchase agreements, manufacturing and service agreements, supply agreements, licensing agreements, amendments, work orders, and statements of work
  • Maintain and oversee a centralized contracts database, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and legal teams to support contract execution and business objectives
  • Develop processes to track contract milestones, supplier obligations, and deliverables
  • Support procurement strategy and assist in resolving commercial and supply chain-related challenges
  • Cook up with external partners, suppliers, and legal counsel to ensure contract compliance and alignment

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts management, procurement, or supply chain
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and purchase agreements
  • Proven ability to independently manage a high volume of contracts and projects with minimal oversight
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within robotics, automation, or hardware/manufacturing supply chains
  • Familiarity with contract management and procurement tools (e.g., contract lifecycle management systems, supplier management platforms)
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or paralegal certification

Additional Information

  • Industry preference: Manufacturing, robotics, automation, aerospace, automotive, or other hardware-focused environments
  • Opportunity for extension or permanent conversion may be available based on performance and business needs
  • Disqualifiers: No experience with commercial contracts or legal documentation, Inability to manage multiple priorities independently, Background limited to non-hardware environments (e.g., purely software or retail)
