Contracts Analyst/Senior Contracts Analyst

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, evaluate and execute a wide range of contract documents to ensure their reasonableness and accuracy, appropriate timelines and deliverables, and alignment with Arrowhead’s risk parameters.
• Identify and resolve clauses adverse to Arrowhead’s interests.
• Ensure accuracy of data for contracts within Arrowhead’s contracting system.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on contractual matters, including collaborating with legal and business teams to mitigate exposure through revisions, standard clauses, and compliance checks.
• Prepare and edit contractual documents and correspondence, including amendments, termination notices and other formal notices under agreement.
• Afford assistance with other general legal matters, as appropriate.
• Be able to integrate and balance big-picture concerns with day-to-day activities.

Requirements

• 1+ years of contract management experience managing a large volume of contract work.
• Demonstrated expertise in negotiating a wide range of contract types.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a keen eye for details and risk management.
• Strong analytical ability, critical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to apply information to other related or similar situations, and project management skills to ensure appropriate execution of corporate goals.
• Experience coordinating with internal clients and cross-functional teams to understand objectives and deliver contract solutions that support their goals.
• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple agreements and stakeholders in a fast-paced regulated environment.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a biotechnology-related field or paralegal certification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Pharmaceutical or biotech experience.
• Experience supporting a publicly traded organization.
• Experience working with contract lifecycle management systems (e.g. Agiloft).

Pay

California pay range: $85,000 USD - $125,000 USD
