About the role
We're seeking a Contracts Administrator who excels in the contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiating to standardization and finance alignment. Key responsibilities include:
- Draft, review, and redline a variety of agreements.
- Identify and recommend modifications to non-standard terms.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and external counsel to drive agreements to execution.
- Develop and implement standardized contract templates and negotiation guardrails.
- Prepare, assemble, and submit RFP, RFQ, and bid documents.
- Manage deal desk activities and support deal structuring and negotiation strategy.
- Partner with Finance to ensure contracts align with billing structures, invoicing requirements, and revenue recognition considerations.
- Support PO processes and contract documentation to keep Finance and Sales aligned.
- Provide training and guidance to Sales teams on contract terms and negotiation best practices.
- Reduce friction in the deal process and improve contract turnaround times.
Requirements
Qualifications include:
- 5-7+ years of experience in contract administration, deal desk, legal operations, or a related field.
- Familiarity with SaaS or technology company environments, especially those with subscription and usage-based business models.
- Hands-on experience preparing and submitting bid packages and RFP responses, particularly in municipal and government procurements.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools.
- Notary certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
