Contractor - Web Software Developer

About the role

The technical profile refers to a Web software developer with a focus on JavaScript, JSP, and web development frameworks. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in web-based software development across all layers, including user interface with high amounts of JavaScript, backoffice with high amounts of Java, and interaction with an Oracle Database.

Responsibilities

• Implement software interfaces such as web services, data exchange over DB Links, file transfer, and file load scripts.
• Propose user-friendly enhancements and designs using new JavaScript classes.
• Be familiar with responsive development, geo-location features, user interface with high interaction with databases, user role control, etc.
• Experience in development frameworks like AngularJS, Marionette, and Backbone is preferred.
• Experience in web development frameworks is required.
• Experience with source code repositories such as Subversion and Git.
• Full development lifecycle management, from design documents through to go-live and support.
• Experience developing interfaces and implementing web services with deep interaction with the Oracle database.
• Experience in implementing back-office interfaces in a reliable and high-availability environment.

Requirements

Preferred if candidate is in a commutable location to Binghamton, NY.
