About the Role

Join BAE Systems as a Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) and become part of an elite security team in the Southern New Hampshire area. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies across Special Access Programs (SAPs), contributing directly to critical national security missions. You'll collaborate with leaders across the organization, build key relationships, and develop highly sought-after skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This onsite position requires regular in-person collaboration at a BAE Systems facility.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to government and company security policies, providing expert guidance to program teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for US Government Program Security Officers and collaborate closely with program managers.
  • Oversee security for prime and subcontractors, including developing and maintaining DD254s and providing security guidance.
  • Author, implement, and maintain comprehensive program-level security plans, procedures, and instructions.
  • Lead formal self-inspections, track corrective actions, and conduct security audits.
  • Deliver security education and awareness training, conduct briefings, and provide classification guidance.
  • Investigate and resolve security incidents.
  • Support other critical security disciplines, including Personnel, Physical, Cyber, COMSEC, Document Control, and Visitor Control.
  • Participate in after-hours alarm response.
  • Support both Continental US (CONUS) and Outside of the Continental US (OCONUS) test events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant security experience, or 9 years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Deep understanding and practical application of U.S. Government security standards, DoW SAP Manuals, DoW SCI Manuals, and ICD/ICS series directives.
  • Familiarity with technologies and applications aligned with ICD 705 Technical Specifications.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with program managers and maintain strong relationships with US Government Program Security Officers.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, analyze complex issues, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Highly proficient in written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mastery of ICD-705 guidelines, with experience implementing security measures such as intrusion detection systems, access control technologies, and TEMPEST requirements.
  • Ability to ensure program compliance in complex, multi-level secure environments, even in non-standard situations.
  • Experience independently identifying, assessing, and resolving unique security challenges with creative solutions.
  • Professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Prior experience as a SAP Accountability Officer.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $82,779 - $140,723. Individual salaries are determined by factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.
