We’re seeking experienced, Credentialed Veterinary Technicians to join our growing telehealth team. What You’ll Be Doing Engaging with clients: Connect with pet owners via the EMR messaging system, providing support, education, and guidance on their pets’ health and well-beingManaging EMR tasks: Handle refill approvals, prescription requests, async case reviews, and renewals efficientlyVerifying and process prescriptions: Coordinate with partner pharmacies and ensure appropriate follow-up for client requestsResolving pharmacy holds: Complete approvals and communicate with doctors and clients as neededSupporting doctor coverage: Monitor shared veterinary admin communications and assist daily as neededCollaborating cross-functionally: Provide feedback to improve processes, systems, and workflowsParticipating in training and process improvement: Contribute to telehealth initiatives, compliance, and team developmentDelivering top-tier client care: Provide empathetic, high-quality service while following clinical protocols and adapting to each caseThriving in a fast-paced environment: Continuously learn and improve your skills to deliver excellent careGrowing: Opportunities to grow over time, responsibilities may expand to include more advanced clinical support and virtual care workflows What You Bring To The Team Passion for veterinary care: Driven to provide high-quality, empathetic support to pet parentsStrong communication skills: Confident in client education and collaborating with doctors and teammatesIndependent and proactive: Manage priorities and tasks effectively with minimal supervisionContinuous learner: Eager to grow professionally and take on new challenges in telehealthTech-savvy and organized: Comfortable navigating multiple computer programs, EMRs, and telehealth platformsRemote-ready: Professional home workspace with reliable internet (>100mb_down, >100mb_up, <10ms latency) and comfort sitting/standing at a computer for extended periodsSchedule & Availability: Must be able to maintain consistent availability during daytime Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours, including evenings and weekends. Preference will be given to candidates available Sunday through Thursday. While schedules generally remain within these timeframes, occasional adjustments may be required to meet business needs. Advance notice will be provided whenever schedule changes are necessary. Qualifications Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT, CVT, RVT)2-3+ years of clinical experience in small animal veterinary medicine; emergency or specialty experience is a plusComfortable using digital tools (telehealth platforms, EMRs, chat systems)Empathetic, organized, and adaptable to a fast-paced, remote-first environment This is a 1099 contractor role with the potential to transition to a W2 position based on performance. You’ll be supported by our Clinical Director, Vet Support team, and Customer Service team, and a streamlined platform that allows you to focus on what you do best: providing excellent care to pets and peace of mind to their people. Compensation starts at $18/hour and will be determined by experience, location, and other factors. We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
