Contract Specialist I

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist I to support our Federal Government client in Arlington, VA. The Contract Specialist will provide acquisition and contracting support for various government contracts, assisting with contract actions throughout the acquisition lifecycle. This position will work closely with Federal employees, contractors, and divisions across the organization. This is a full-time, position located onsite at 1215 S. Clark Street, Arlington, VA 22202. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation. Contract Specialist I Key Responsibilities Conduct contract reviews and assist with cradle-to-grave contract operations, including call order modifications and contract closeoutsInput contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS)Assist Government Contracting Officers with large and small purchase contract actionsReview solicitation packages for completenessAdvise and assist program offices by providing examples of required documents to be included in solicitation packagesSupport contracting activities in accordance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirementsLiaise with Federal employees, contractors, and divisions across the organization in support of contracting activities Contract Specialist I Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree with at least 24 credit hours in businessMinimum of four (4) years of related work experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the positionRecent Federal Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist experience requiredAdvanced knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 8, 12, and 15FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II certification preferredMust be a U.S. CitizenMust be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation About One Federal Solution One Federal Solution (OFS) is an innovative Professional Services provider with over 20 years of experience supporting Defense and Civilian agencies.
