Contract Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and redline a wide range of contracts, including Vendor and OEM agreements, Customer contracts, NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and amendments, Lease documents.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (sales, operations, finance, and leadership) to align contract terms with business goals.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks; escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Ensure consistency with company policies, legal standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage contract lifecycle activities, including tracking, version control, and documentation.
  • Support negotiations with customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Manage templates and standard contract language to improve efficiency.
  • Afford assistance with process improvements related to contract management and review workflows.

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in contract review, drafting, and negotiation.
  • Experience in the OEM, VAR, IT services, or technology solutions industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of common contract structures (MSA, SOW, NDA, etc.).
  • Proven ability to independently review and redline contracts with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a high-growth or services-driven organization.
  • Familiarity with technology vendor agreements and partner ecosystems.
  • Hands-on experience implementing, administering, and optimizing a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system (e.g., Ironclad strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to build and manage contract workflows, templates, approval processes, and reporting within a CLM platform.
  • Experience driving CLM adoption across cross-functional teams and improving contract efficiency through automation and standardization.
  • 4-year degree preferred.

Location Requirement

Will be based in the Boise, Idaho area (including Meridian and surrounding communities) or willing to relocate to the Boise/Meridian area.
