Job Summary

This position ensures that reports and remittances from primary servicers are accurate and received within established timeframes. Duties include complex research on servicer advance recoveries, transfers, reporting discrepancies, and inquiries.

  • Serves as first impression to external and internal customers, vendors, agencies, and investors.
  • Manages time, priorities, and resources to achieve goals.

Essential Job Functions

  • Reconcile complex reports from primary servicers within established timeframes and Servicing Agreements.
  • Complete research on difficult issues relating to servicer reporting, cash settlement issues, and inquiries.
  • Research and correct servicing errors or discrepancies within established timeframes.
  • Ensure accurate information is sent to the trust and investors.
  • Point of contact for escalated servicer issues.
  • Direct servicers in accordance with servicing requirements and instruct on issue resolution.
  • Act as liaison between investor and servicer to answer questions.
  • Maintain and update policy and procedures based on latest industry requirements.
  • Ensure assigned primary servicers report and remit in accordance with timeframes established in Servicing Agreements.
  • Identify and clear cash receipts, servicer discrepancies, and/or servicer billings within established timeframes.
  • Prepare wires for distribution to servicers based on monthly reporting requirements.
  • Be active, reliable, and visible part of the team, assisting all members to excel.
  • May assist other departments as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Experience: Mortgage and Financial Services experience a plus.
  • Skills: Clear and professional verbal and written communication, proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), exposure to mortgage-specific software, accurate reporting with data analytics.

Team Environment

  • Hybrid position requiring at least 5 days per month onsite in Highlands Ranch, CO.
  • Resides within a commutable distance to the office.
