Job Summary

Essential Functions

  • Comply with Schellman’s code of ethics and professional conduct
  • Adhere to professional and regulatory standards relevant to assigned service line specialization(s)
  • Promote Schellman’s company culture and exemplify Schellman’s values
  • Establish high-quality relationships and rapport with client personnel
  • Manage client expectations to exceed them
  • Complete assigned duties in a timely manner with a high attention to detail
  • Collaborate with fellow project team members throughout the life cycle of each project
  • Escalate issues internally in a proper and timely manner
  • Book travel reservations in a timely manner and in accordance with Schellman’s travel and expense policies and procedures
  • Perform the essential functions of other service delivery positions when qualified and called upon to do so
  • Attend project kick-off and closing meetings
  • Execute assigned testing procedures, perform detailed analysis, reach conclusions, document results in accordance with company standards, and suggest ideas for improvements, where applicable
  • Serve as a contact for clients' basic questions regarding an engagement
  • Contribute to Schellman’s practice development efforts
  • Develop an expert knowledge of professional and regulatory standards relevant to assigned service line specialization(s)

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Familiarity with Schellman’s services, methodology, and relevant professional standards
  • Requisite knowledge of applicable technology, privacy, and security domains
  • A high level of attention to detail and quality of work product
  • A client service-oriented mindset
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work on-site or remotely as a valuable contributor to a collaborative team
  • The capability to manage assigned tasks for multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education, Work Experience And Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management, privacy law, privacy, engineering, technology, or other relevant subject area, or equivalent years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • 2+ years of related professional services or large corporate experience in information security auditing, assessment, consulting, compliance, or privacy operations
  • PREFERRED: Focused on Privacy regulation
  • PREFERRED: Professional membership in one (IAPP, ISACA, ISC2, AICPAM)
  • PREFERRED: Maintains (CIPP, CIPT, and/or CIPM) Certification
