Contract Recruiter, Hopewell Manufacturing Site

About the role

This Recruiter needs to be a strong consultant with the demonstrated ability to understand Talent Acquisition requirements and turn that analysis into actionable solutions. A fundamental understanding of business strategy and how to link that with recruiting efforts is essential. This role requires the candidate to be both strategic and tactical and is based onsite in Hopewell, NJ (hybrid role).

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of the recruiting process.
• In partnership with the recruiting team, HRBPs, and hiring managers, develop job descriptions, source candidates, and drive the recruiting process for supported teams.
• Pre-screen resumes, complete candidate evaluations, and schedule interviews for key positions.
• Recruit passive candidates.
• Deliver quality candidates and hires while providing guidance to improve talent acquisition productivity and predictable quality.
• Drive adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing, and hiring practices across the organization.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions, including direct sourcing, internet recruiting, networking, and utilization of external search firms.
• Assess internal and external recruiting resources and recommend solutions to meet the organization’s recruiting demands.
• Ensure recruiting and hiring practices comply with government regulations and organizational policies in pre-screening and post-employment processes.
• Maintain current knowledge of business, marketplace, legal, and recruitment trends and requirements.
• Identify and share best recruitment practices across the organization.
• Initiate and maintain a network of contacts to help identify qualified candidates and increase the applicant pool.
• Provide end-user education and training for hiring managers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience in recruiting in the Biopharma industry across multiple functions.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Previous experience supporting clinical research, commercial, and business-related functions is a plus.
• Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical drug discovery lifecycle is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Ability to gain credibility, engender trust, and influence across all levels of the organization.
• Strong partnering skills, bias for action, and tangible results.
• Ability to follow assignments through to completion with an emphasis on action and execution.
• Extensive experience leading recruitment activities.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing recruitment strategies, marketing plans, policies, and programs.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS); Workday experience is a plus.
• Experience working in a global environment.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $91,600.00 - $121,600.00 per hour. Actual compensation is determined by several factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
