Contract Recruiter
Description
The Contract Recruiter will support the Talent Acquisition team on a temporary, variable-hour basis by sourcing, recruiting, and screening candidates for a variety of positions across the organization. This role is responsible for managing recruiting activities from sourcing through offer stage while partnering closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to attract and hire top talent. This position is focused exclusively on recruiting and talent sourcing activities and is ideal for an experienced recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage multiple searches simultaneously.
Job Summary
Manage full-cycle recruiting activities for assigned requisitions across Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Corporate, Commercial, Finance, Human Resources, and other functional areas.
Sources passive and active candidates utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels.
Conduct candidate outreach, screening, and qualification discussions to assess experience, skills, and overall fit for open positions.
Coverage of candidate interviews and maintain consistent communication throughout the recruitment process.
Develop and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
Partner with Talent Acquisition team members and hiring managers to develop effective recruiting and sourcing strategies.
Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting activity, and disposition documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Provide regular updates on candidate pipelines, market trends, and recruitment progress.
Deliver a positive candidate experience while promoting the company's employer brand and culture.
Support other recruiting-related projects and initiatives as needed.
Work Arrangement
This is a variable-hour contract position supporting the Talent Acquisition team based on business needs.
Candidates must reside in a state where the company maintains an employment presence.
The position may be performed remotely; however, candidates located near Buffalo, NY or Chicago, IL are encouraged to work in a hybrid capacity to support collaboration and team engagement.
Occasional travel to company locations may be required.
Computer, phone, and reliable internet access are required to perform the responsibilities of this role.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and recruiting experience preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of agency and/or corporate recruiting experience.
Demonstrated experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other recruiting platforms.
Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously across a variety of functions and levels. - Knowledge: Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
