Contract Recruiter (6 months), Hybrid

Location: Hybrid – Oceanport, NJ

Status: Full-Time, Hourly (six-month contract opportunity)

Pay Range: $33.04 – $46.67 per hour ($68,724.00 - $97,073.00 anticipated annual salary for New Jersey hires)

About the Role

The Contract Recruiter will work collaboratively within the Talent Acquisition & Innovation Center of Excellence (CoE) to support the full life-cycle recruitment process across the RWJBarnabas Health system. This role is vital in helping to meet hiring goals by driving recruitment strategies, building trusted relationships, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience from application to offer.

Responsibilities

• Focus on high-priority and hard-to-fill positions and tailor sourcing approaches.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and guide hiring decisions.
• Build trust-based relationships with candidates and stakeholders across the system.
• Manage the offer process with confidence and professionalism.
• Communicate clearly and promptly to ensure a great experience for everyone involved.
• Use tools, technology, and social media to attract and engage talent.
• Support internal employees with transfers and career growth opportunities.
• Keep systems and reports accurate and up to date.
• Represent RWJBH at career fairs, professional organizations, and networking events.

Qualifications

• Current, progressive recruiting experience with a demonstrated track record of success.
• Recent experience in healthcare talent sourcing and/or recruiting is strongly preferred.
• Highly proficient in leveraging recruiting technologies, including ATS platforms, CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
• Prior experience in recruitment, talent identification, research, or executive search environments is required.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
