CONTRACT Privacy and Cyber Attorney

About the role

Our client, a global technology company and household name, is seeking an experienced Privacy and Cyber Attorney to provide immediate support across EU privacy and cybersecurity matters on a contract basis. This is a fully remote U.S.-based opportunity expected to begin at approximately 20 hours per week, with hours likely decreasing after the first couple of months. The engagement is expected to last at least several months, with the potential to continue indefinitely.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a range of evolving regulatory requirements, with a particular focus on GDPR, the EU AI Act, the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and related European privacy and cybersecurity regulations.
• Draft and review privacy-related materials.
• Provide practical legal guidance to product and business teams.
• Track and interpret regulatory developments.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience advising on EU privacy and cybersecurity requirements and burgeoning regulations.
• Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment.
