About the role
Performs contract cost and price analysis for DLA's most complex procurements, involving advanced acquisition strategies and methods.
Responsibilities
- Develops theoretical approaches for complex procurements.
- Evaluates the reasonableness of proposed contract prices.
- Prepares comprehensive recommendations for negotiation objectives.
- Analyzes forecasted price trends and economic factors.
- Trains Contract Price Cost Analysts and Contract Specialists.
- Maintains project status, reviews work, and ensures adherence to management expectations.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Tour of duty: Flexible.
- Security Requirements: Non-Critical Sensitive.
- Appointment subject to suitability and fitness determination.
- Not authorized for recruitment incentives.
- Bargaining unit status: No.
- Selectees must have REAL ID or other acceptable identification.
- Must complete DoD certification and other requirements.
Qualifications
- Basic Contracting Requirement: Baccalaureate degree or equivalent experience.
- Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience in analysis of financial statements and technical capabilities.
- Acquisition Certification: Level 3 within required timeframe.
- Continuous Learning Points (CLPs): 80 hours every two years.
