About the role

Performs contract cost and price analysis for DLA's most complex procurements, involving advanced acquisition strategies and methods.

Responsibilities

  • Develops theoretical approaches for complex procurements.
  • Evaluates the reasonableness of proposed contract prices.
  • Prepares comprehensive recommendations for negotiation objectives.
  • Analyzes forecasted price trends and economic factors.
  • Trains Contract Price Cost Analysts and Contract Specialists.
  • Maintains project status, reviews work, and ensures adherence to management expectations.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Tour of duty: Flexible.
  • Security Requirements: Non-Critical Sensitive.
  • Appointment subject to suitability and fitness determination.
  • Not authorized for recruitment incentives.
  • Bargaining unit status: No.
  • Selectees must have REAL ID or other acceptable identification.
  • Must complete DoD certification and other requirements.

Qualifications

  • Basic Contracting Requirement: Baccalaureate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience in analysis of financial statements and technical capabilities.
  • Acquisition Certification: Level 3 within required timeframe.
  • Continuous Learning Points (CLPs): 80 hours every two years.
