Outpatient TherapistJob description:Job Purpose:We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Outpatient Therapist (OPT) to join our team. This role involves conducting client assessments, managing a caseload, and collaborating with the Clinical Director to ensure high-quality mental health services. The ideal candidate is licensed, experienced, and passionate about client-centered care.Location: Fully Remote; minimal travel required to sitesHours: Part-Time, 16-20 hours per week, flexible scheduleThe Contractor shall provide the following services at the agreed-upon rates:A. Clinical & Diagnostic Services (Fee-for-Service)● Diagnostic Assessments: 50% per event● Comprehensive Clinical Assessments: 50% per event● Outpatient Therapy (Telehealth/In-Person): 50% per event Reports To: Director of Clinical Services and OperationsKey ResponsibilitiesClient AssessmentsEvaluate Urgency & Complexity: Assess clients to determine appropriate next steps and prioritize interventions.Medical Necessity Determination: Ensure clients meet medical necessity criteria for appropriate care levels.Collaborate with Clinical Director: Help allocate resources effectively across all locations.Referral Qualification: Evaluate incoming referrals to ensure they meet eligibility criteria.Admissions Decisions: Make informed decisions based on company policies and client needs.Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct diagnostic assessments, gathering information on medical history, mental health status, and social support.Risk & Strength Evaluation: Identify risk factors, strengths, and available resources to inform treatment planning.Caseload ManagementProvide outpatient therapy and diagnostic assessments as needed.Flexibility & Work-Life BalanceWe recognize that the mental health field requires adaptability. While we strive for consistency, we also offer flexibility to help you manage your caseload and maintain work-life balance.Benefits & PerksFlexible Schedule: Choose your own working hours, including evenings and weekends.Office & Equipment Access: Use company office space and computers for your professional work.Training & Development: Access company-provided training for continuous learning.Scheduling Support: Our front desk team assists with client scheduling and management.Required Education & ExperienceMaster’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.Licensure: Must hold active licensure as one of the following in the state of practice:Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCSWA)Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC or LCMHC-A)Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS or LCAS-A)Experience: Preferably a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health or substance abuse treatment settings.Skills:Strong clinical assessment & diagnostic skills using standardized criteria.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work with diverse populations and interdisciplinary teams.Familiarity with evidence-based practices and treatment modalities.EHR Proficiency: Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) for documentation and compliance.Certificates, Licenses & RegistrationsMust maintain active licensure and board certification as required by the state.Working ConditionsMinimal travel to other locations as needed.Fast-paced mental health setting requiring flexibility and strong time management.Job Type: ContractBenefits:Flexible scheduleProfessional development assistanceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: Remote
