Contract Nurse

Contract duration: 8 weeks. Local candidates only; non-local applicants are responsible for their own housing, lodging, and travel expenses.

About the role

Aspire Senior Living Joplin is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week contract. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic setting with a chance for full-time employment after the contract period.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans and facility policies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate residents and families on health management and care plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.

Requirements

• Active and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) nursing license in Missouri.
• Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts.
• Rotating weekends.
• Full-time day or full-time night shifts available.

Pay

• LPN: $40/hour.
• RN: $45/hour.
