About the role
Lead the day-to-day operations of a contract manufacturing facility focused on supplements. Manage a team of production workers and quality assurance personnel. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Oversee the supply chain and logistics to maintain efficient operations.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage raw material procurement and inventory management.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners to resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct regular audits of the manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar managerial role within the pharmaceutical or supplement manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams and improving operational efficiencies.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
