MGM Products, Inc. is a small and growing manufacturer with 3 locations and approximately 100 employees, specializing in HVAC metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

  • Manually perform general labor as directed by the shift supervisor.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Give full attention to what others are saying, take time to understand points being made, ask questions as appropriate, and avoid interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Convey information effectively through talking to others.
  • Monitor and assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
  • Assist with placing air conditioning unit accessories onto an assembly line.
  • Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure machines are working properly.
  • Determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
  • Identify measures or indicators of system performance and actions needed to improve or correct performance relative to system goals.
  • Perform general physical activities such as moving or fitting heavy objects, cleaning rooms and work areas, and loading, unloading, or stacking containers, materials, or products.
  • Frequently lift items up to 45–75 lbs.
  • Handle and move objects such as package goods for shipment or storage.
  • Identify objects, actions, and events, such as sorting manufacturing materials or products.
  • Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships.
  • Maintain open, candid, and continuous communications with personnel from all functions to ensure essential information is disseminated.
  • Communicate with supervisors, peers, or subordinates.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.
  • Make decisions and solve problems.

Skills

  • Obtain and ensure appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed for work.
  • Excellent presentation, executive engagement, and communication skills (written and verbal), with good English grammar.
