About the role
The Contract Manager is responsible for managing and disseminating key contact information for all stakeholders, establishing projects in financial and operational systems, monitoring the contract for compliance with terms; and managing rate increases, renewals and other routine changes or deliverables to the customer.
Responsibilities
- Creates project numbers and enters all relevant information into financial and operational systems.
- Communicates project start information to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintains records for correspondence and documentation with established contracts and those in progress.
- Documents key compliance components and reviews compliance with contract terms, updates ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) as required with pertinent contract details.
- Communicates and presents key information to stakeholders about contract-related matters as requested.
- Serves as the consistent point of contact for internal employees and external parties regarding agreements and contracts.
- Identifies any contract-related problems that may arise with all involved stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in vegetation management or construction industries, as well as operations, project management and coordination, or administration.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related fields.
- A combination of equivalent education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience with NetSuite or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning.
Skills
- Ability to pay attention to detail in all aspects of contract management.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at various levels of the organization.
- Ability to negotiate and collaborate with others leading to a positive outcome.
- Knowledge of typical contract attributes.
- Skilled at organization and contract management.
- Skilled with Microsoft Office products, in particular, Excel; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
