Contract Logistics 1st Shift Warehouse Associate - Jupiter, FL

Responsibilities

• Move materials within the warehouse and load/unload materials onto or from vehicles using a forklift, reach truck, order picker, or other heavy material handling equipment
• Perform receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping/manifesting, screening, and other warehouse duties as assigned
• Data entry, compiling, sorting, and verifying accuracy of data
• Compile statistics and prepare various reports for management
• Examine records such as manifests, invoices, bills of lading, and related documents to resolve process inefficiencies
• Confer with warehouse or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments
• Investigate overdue and damaged shipments or shortages in shipments for customers and/or common carriers
• Analyze complaints concerning services rendered and refer service failures to designated departments for investigation, updating customers on a timely basis
• Record and retain meeting minutes
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum education: High School Degree or Equivalent
• A minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in customer service or quality assurance
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with SAP or any Warehouse Management System (WMS) is highly desired
• Ability to effectively solve problems
• Must be a US Citizen

Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Pay

$19.00 per hour, paid weekly
