Contract Level II UTSW / MT - Northwestern OH - 4-6+ months

Summary
ATS is hiring Level II UTSW/MT Technicians for an assignment in northwestern Ohio. Overtime and per diem are paid. These are contract assignments in various locations in south‑central US (fab shops) and the Midwest for on‑site inspections. AWS D1.1 experience is required. The project is expected to last 4–6 months. Competitive pay and per diem/travel are provided. Additional locations in VA, NC, WI, and IL are also available.
Responsibilities
- Perform examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for OJT and guidance of trainees.
- Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities in order to meet customer expectations.
- Prepare written instructions and organize and report the results of examinations.
- Work independently and support team members.
- Perform other job‑related tasks as needed and assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- AWS D1.1 experience.
- Ability to work on‑site in northwestern Ohio or other listed locations (VA, NC, WI, IL).
- Capability to guide trainees and provide on‑the‑job training.
