Contract CFC Staff - Arlington, TX

About the role

We are seeking a CFC contractor to work with a 20 year-old male individual who is nonverbal and needs assistance with daily living skills. The role involves providing support with cleaning, bathing, feeding, and hygiene, as well as accessing leisure time and recreational activities, socialization, and community resources.

A typical day may include: 9a-11am Breakfast, 11am - 12:30p Bath time/dressing/brush teeth, 12:30-1:30p Staff lunch, 1:30p - 2:15p Laundry, 2:15p - 3:40p Lunch for client, 3:40p - 4:40p Playtime for client, and 4:40p - 6p Afternoon clean up.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills such as cleaning, bathing, feeding, and hygiene
• Support accessing leisure time and recreational activities, socialization, and community resources
• Walk with the individual in their neighborhood

Requirements

• Proficiently communicate in the functional language of the individual
• Feel comfortable working in close physical proximity to the individual
• Demonstrate emotional maturity, stability, and ability to perform under stress
• Possess frustration tolerance and exercise good judgment, cooperation, tact, and discretion

Qualifications

Pay

$15.00 per hour (HCS), up to 57 hours per week
