Contract Attorney (MI)

Soni Resources is partnered with a global law firm on their search for project-based, Temporary Attorney. This position requires experience in employment-based, corporate/business immigration matters. The attorney will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to manage employment-based immigration filings, provide legal analysis, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations for the duration of defined projects or client engagements. Job Responsibilities Conduct legal research, supervise paralegal work, and ensure accurate use of case management technology in compliance with internal standards and protocols.Work with case teams to assess eligibility for corporate foreign national employees and prepare non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and related government filings.Advise and collaborate with client stakeholders on immigration program management, compliance, and case strategy, while drafting supporting legal documents and correspondence. Requirements J.D. or LL.M. with State Bar MembershipStrong legal writing skillsEmployment based immigration experienceWorking knowledge of U.S. business immigration law with strong analytical, research, and writing skills, including the ability to draft and proofread independently.
