Job Overview

Shift: 1st 6a-2:30p TPM Supervisor
Location: Northlake, IL

Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Functions as site SME for the deployment and training of TPM principles and strategies for the site
• Cultural liaison to shop floor team members for TPM methodology and a Continuous Improvement mindset
• Tracks standard preventive manufacturing measures and prioritizes plant maintenance opportunities
• Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties
• Guide and Support maintenance technicians and operations in trouble-shooting production equipment when necessary
• Implements process enhancements to improve package changeover and line efficiency
• Utilizes knowledge to maximize asset utilization and plant performance and report Plant KPI’s
• Supports/Provides training to improve capability of maintenance technicians and operators

Total Rewards

• Salary range: $76,400 - $120,000
• This position is bonus eligible
• Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred but not required
• Experience in the manufacturing industry required
• Proven experience in technical program management and continuous improvement
• Strong facilitation skills and a continuous improvement orientation
• Two years of experience facilitating, coaching, and implementing TPM, Lean, Kaizen/Six Sigma events, and driving lean transformation with proven results and implementations in a manufacturing environment (5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, visual management, and leading Kaizen events)
• Previous mechanical/electrical experience maintaining production equipment preferred
• Experience coaching and leading cross-functional teams, including team building, understanding motivation and negotiation techniques, and providing work direction to others
• Experience in implementing TPM strategies and training programs preferred
