About the Role
The Continuous Improvement Manager will provide leadership, coaching, support, and project management to the organization to support the company's lean transformation. This position will identify areas of potential improvement and work with company leaders to realize improvement potential using tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 6S, Daily Management, Standard Work, Pull Systems, and Problem-Solving Process.
Responsibilities
- Deploy sustainable standard leadership and lean tools throughout the organization, including Daily Management, Standard Work, Leadership Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, Pull Systems, Visual Management, and A3 thinking.
- Establish an organizational culture of Continuous Improvement by acting as a coach and mentor to all levels of the organization.
- Use Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, or similar techniques to identify processes and eliminate waste within the organization to achieve significant gains.
- Challenge conventional thinking by questioning current processes and procedures in the spirit of continuous improvement.
- Model what it means to be a change agent within the organization.
- Work with organizational leaders to build a Kaizen funnel and opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate Kaizen Events and coach team members on Kaizen preparation and post-Kaizen action implementation.
- Work closely with the Business Unit to identify and deploy meaningful KPIs.
- Provide ongoing education to the organization in the areas of Continuous Improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all core values, policies, and standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Continuous Improvement experience (Required).
- 2+ years in a leadership role with a demonstrated track record of implementation success (Required).
- Toyota Production System experience (or similar) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (advanced degree helpful) (Required).
- Lean Certified or equivalent experience (Required).

Salary Range: $115,487 – $176,696
