Continuous Improvement Engineer - Central
About the role
As a key change agent, you'll teach, coach, and embed Lean principles across all levels of the organization—driving measurable results and fostering a culture of Operational Excellence.
Your Impact Will Include:
- Teaching and coaching Lean systems and Lean Thinking across departments and leadership levels.
- Tracking, monitoring, and reporting results for key Lean initiatives.
- Assessing teams and providing constructive feedback to strengthen Lean competencies.
- Influencing leadership as a change manager to embed Operational Excellence into the company culture.
- Identifying process improvement opportunities and mentoring teams to execute strategic change.
- Using data and KPIs to prioritize efforts and ensure goal achievement.
- Facilitating impactful training sessions focused on problem-solving and process optimization.
- Conducting Maturity Assessments and guiding departments along the Lean Roadmap.
Responsibilities
You'll bring a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (REQUIRED), hands-on experience with the Toyota Production System or similar Lean methodologies, a strong background in program or change management with a proven record of driving organizational transformation, excellent judgment, personal accountability, and a self-starter mindset. You'll also need to build relationships and work effectively across all levels of the organization, including vendors and shareholders, and have proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, and statistical tools like Minitab or SPC for Excel. Outstanding written and oral communication skills are also required.
Willingness to travel 25% to support initiatives across our facilities.
Requirements
