Continuous Improvement Coordinator

About the role

G.S. Precision is seeking a skilled machinist to join our team. This position operates multiple machines, makes adjustments, inspects parts, and maintains a clean, efficient workspace.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machines after setup by supervisor, lead person, or set-up person
• Make adjustments to ensure parts meet tolerances and specifications
• Inspect parts using micrometers, verniers, gages, fixtures, and other measuring equipment
• Report issues and needed adjustments to supervisors immediately
• Exercise good machine practices at all times
• Ensure both quality and quantity of production
• Maintain accurate production records
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area, equipment, and tools
• Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously
• Perform other duties as required, assigned, or directed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 months to 1 year or more of machining experience
• Experience with understanding measurement and inspection devices
• Ability to interpret blueprints and understand part placement

• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working as part of a team that includes all levels of the organization

Pay

$18.00 - $30.00 / Hour + 10% Shift Differential

Monday - Friday 3:15pm - 11:45pm
